exploring the street market

... The third Sunday of every month, in my city, there is an antiques market... when I was a little girl, I hated that market, because of all that creepy old stuff... these objects which came from a  faraway time brought me a little sadness and scared me a bit... 

but now things are changed... In this market it's possible to find objects that come from my childhood, and stuff that brings me back in time... and I really love to pass the time wandering between the street market searching little treasures and inspirations...

* ✧. ★ let's explore the marvelous street market ★ .✧ *

I had so much fun, and I've found a lot of inspirations and creative incentives for my next projects... (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

I've also found the time to make my ♥ diy ouija tee ♥ ! I wanted one from a while and finally I've got it!!!

✧ My Painting Process ✧

some of you asked me to show my painting process with a video...unfortunately I've got the worst camera in the universe...so It's impossible for me to take a video like that...
so, I've decided to make a photo-documented post to show you how my art is generated...

      ✧ My Painting Process ✧

✏ first of all, before I start working to a new painting, I've to find the inspiration and generate the basic concept of my work...

so I make a sort of "inspiration wall" with all the images that are going to influence my creative process...

then I organize my working space...

...with all that I need to start my work: watercolor paper, watercolors, colored pens, various kinds of markers, different sized uni-posca, brushes and a good tea...

after I figured the basic concept in my mind, I draw the basic lines on the paper...

and I start the coloring phase... I always start by painting the skin tone of the face....

to make the patterns I usually make a paper template to help myself...

then I retrace the template's outline in the paper...

at last I retrace the outlines with a black fine marker... and my painting is finally done!!!

Spring ϟ Time

Hi there!
♥ Spring has arrived ♥ !!! it's time for walks in the woods, street markets shopping, picnics, spring clothes, easter food, chocolate eggs & co...

some days ago, me and my boyfriends went in the woods near my city for a walk ♥...
I really really love to walk in the woods, I always wish to meet some goblins, elf and other little people... it's my biggest dream!! and anyway, I find these strolls really inspiring and relaxing!

we have found a really striking atmosphere...

 

and really amazing colors and shapes...

 ... and we also came across the legendary local haunted house!! uhhhh!!!

... and then we met a funny fluffy cloud ...

... it was a really lovely day ♥ ♥ ♥ !

today I went to the mall fore some spring shopping!!! but I haven't found anything interesting =_='' this is really sad!! 

to comfort myself I've bought a fake, creepy little pony!!! wiii... ♥

...my boyfriend bought me a silly chocolate easter egg (yes, I'm 8 years old!)...and finally my e-bay order has arrived!!! a new pair of shoes ♥ !!! wiii!!!!!

finally a self portrait ♡ ♡ ♡

Hi cuties! I'm writing this post to say that I've finally succeeded in painting a self portrait!!! wiiii!!
It's about time that I tried, and I tried to draw myself, but the final result was always disappointing...

but some days ago I've tried again, and this time I'm almost pleased about the result...

I'm so satisfied that I've decided to turn it into my personal logo...

hi little space invaders! some times ago a girl asked me how to draw a galaxy...
so here is my ✧ ･ﾟ:* "galaxy tutorial"*:･ﾟ✧  ! yay!

so let's start the tutorial!!
1. what I need?

✧ a leaf of watercolour cotton paper
✧ blue and purple watercolours (I've decided to blend only two colors, but the galaxy has a myriad of shades)
✧ white acrylic paint, withe uni-posca and white fine pen.
✧ brushes of different sizes

2. lets draw the base:

initially, I've diluted the two watercolours with a bit of water, so that the color appears darker and full... I've painted the paper with a large brush, alternating blue and purple blots...
when I've painted a first wipe, I've diluted the colors with more water and I've painted a second wipe on the paper creating some "water blot"... in this way I've reached the blend effect...

3. when the base is finally dry...

 It's time for drawing stars... if you are able and accurate you can use a super fine brush and the acrylic paint... or you can use a white unipisca (that is an acrylic paint marker) and a white fine pen...

4. first the bigger stars...

first I've drawn some "big" spots with the uniposca, almost distant one from the others...

5. little stars...

 after the big stars, it's time for the smaller ones... with the white fine pen I've drawn a lot of little points around the bigger ones...

6. some shining stars...

if you want you can add some shining stars to confer more sparkle at your galaxy...
